Instant Development Loan
The society offers instant development loan at an affordable rate maximum repayment period; 36 months
- Granted to a maximum of 3 times ones deposits less outstanding loans
College Fees Loan
- Maximum repayment period-24 months
- Disbursed within 24 hours
- Granted to a maximum of 3 times ones deposits less outstanding loans
Emergency Loan
- Repayable within 12 months
- Disbursed within 24hours of receipt
- Granted to a maximum of 3 times ones deposits less outstanding loans
Elimu New Vision Loan
- Granted to a maximum of 4 times ones deposits less outstanding loans
- Recoverable in 72 months
- Interest 1.375% p/m
- Appraisal fee of 1% only
Ji-Connect Loan
- Enables members purchase mobile phones and gadgets in easy installments
- Repayable within 12 months
- Disbursed within 24 hours of approval
Super Loan
- Targeting members without enough deposits but in urgent need.
- Maximum Amount granted : As per salary ability
- Repayment period: 36 months
- Interest: 1.25% per month on reducing balance
- Upto25% of the loan shall be deducted to the member’s deposits to top up required amount and the balance disbursed
- Target: Members without adequate deposits but have ability to pay and who require
- loans for development purposes. The product can also be used to purchase/clear loans from other financial institutions

G-Patie Tank Loan
Product Features
- Loan repayment period is 12 months or less
- Interest will be 13% p.a.
- Processing within one week of receipt
- Payment will be made if members qualifies for the whole amount.
How the product works
- The product will be available at the back office where members have ability to pay.
- Members will then apply for a water tank loan to the society. The price list will be available in all branches
- When the loan forms are approved, the stamped and signed schedules will be sent to Kentainers tank supplier with the cheque for all the members who qualified.
- The loan approval will follow the same approval procedure loans in the back office.
- Members should apply for amounts higher than the quotation since there are charges applicable e.g. loan processing fee and FOSA payment charges.
- The tank will be delivered after 2 weeks upon receipt of the cheque and list of members.
- Kentainers will also contact members upon receipt of payment
KENTAINERS LIMITED will brand tanks designated to ELIMU SACCO clients with a clearly visible ELIMU SACCO Logo.
Development Loan
Maximum repayment period 48 months granted to a maximum of three times ones deposit less outstanding loans granted all year round
Premier Development Loan
Maximum repayment period of 30 months granted to a maximum of three times ones deposits less outstanding loans
School Fees
Repayable within a school calendar year granted to a maximum of 3 times one’s deposit less outstanding loans
Super Savers
The Super Savers product is tailored for;
- Members who are saving a minimum of kshs 5,000
- The saving should be for a continuous period of 12 months.
- Members should not reduce monthly saving below kshs 5,000.00 even after taking loan

Elimu Benevolent Fund
Contribution is mandatory for all members. Kshs 75.00 per month for individual members, kshs 75.00 per month for members spouse and kshs 50.00 per month for children under 18 years
BENEFITS FOR THE ELIMU BENEVOLENT FUND INCLUDE
- Upon death, benefits payable as follows: Member kshs 50,000.00|Spouse Kshs 30,000.00 |children kshs 20,000.00
- Members claim must be accompanied by original burial permit and death certificate
Loan Risk Fund
Contribution is kshs 100 per month and is mandatory for all members
BENEFITS
- When a member dies, the loan is written off through the fund .
- Guarantors deposits are not attached
- Nominee is refunded back deposits in full

FOSA Loans
Easter Mobile Loan
- Maximum loan amount is Kshs 12,000 for two months.
- Interest rate at 4% interest per month deducted upfront.
- Available to all members
- Member must have over Kshs 15,000.00 Deposits.
- Available 9th April 2020 to 16th April 2020
Mobile Friday Loan
- Earning Salary through FOSA
- Three months’ salary must have been processed at FOSA
- No guarantors required
- Repayment period of one month
- Member Must not be listed with CRB
- 5% facilitation fee
- Maximum loan amount:90% of the net salary
Investment Mobile Loan
- Maximum loan amount is Kshs 14,000 for three months.
- Interest rate at 4% interest per month deducted upfront.
- Available to all members
- Member must have over Kshs 16,000.00 Deposits.
- Repayment period is 5 months. Failure to repay will lead to offsetting from deposits.Consequently,the member will then be blacklisted from accessing mobile loans for 3 months.
Mobile Instant Loan
- Eligibility after three months
- Must have minimum of Kshs 10,000.00 as BOSA Deposits
- No guarantors required
- Repayment period of one month
- Must not be listed with CRB
- 5% facilitation fee
- Maximum loan amount of Kshs 10,000.00

MPESA PAYBILL SERVICES
INTRODUCTION OF THE MPESA PAY BILL SERVICE
MPESA pay bill service is a mobile banking facility that we are offering our members to enable them make payments through MPESA using their mobile phones at the comfort of their homes.
PROCEDURE OF PAYMENTS THROUGH MPESA
- You need to be an M-PESA registered customer as the service is available for M-PESA registered users only
- Ensure you have sufficient funds in your M-PESA account to cover the amount you are paying and the relevant charges. (See table on charges)
- Go to M-PESA on your phone Menu
- Select Payment Services
- Select Pay Bill
- Enter the business number (969800)
- Enter your six-digit Membership number (e.g. 033238), followed by the transaction code- (see table on codes below)
- Enter the amount you wish to pay (up to Ksh70,000.00)
- Enter your M-PESA PIN
- Confirm details are correct and press OK
- You will receive a confirmation from Safaricom once the transaction is complete. Keep this confirmation until you receive a receipt or confirmation from Sacco.
- Your account will be updated within 24 Hours.
NB: Existing M-PESA rules and charges apply when paying remittances maximum transaction amount per day is Ksh140, 000 and the maximum amount transferable per transaction is Kshs 70,000.00
