Nakuru is one of the cheapest places to live. There are many estates with cheap houses to rent. White House,Shabab,Kiamunyi,Mercy Njeri,Ngata,Milimani,Olive In,London,Section 58 ,Pipeline and Mzee Wa Nyama are some of the places to live in.

Rich estates like Milimani charge over Ksh 30,000 per month for a one bedroom house. The estate is only for the rich and upper middle class.

Since most people would prefer houses for common mwananchi,I won’t advise you to look for a house in Milimani.

If you want to move to Nakuru,below is the rent you expect to pay:

Bedsitter—Ksh 3,000 to Ksh 8,000 per month

One bedroom—Ksh 5,000 to Ksh 15,000 per month

Nakuru is also clean with fresh air—it’s one of the cleanest cities in East Africa.
