Comedian KK Mwenyewe is dead. The comedian died today 15/7/2025. His closest friend Kafengo announced the death,indicating that KK had died at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital after a short illness.
KK Mwenyewe started his comedy in 2021 while at Kisii University. He later started mimicking former DP Rigathi Gachagua before transitioning to other styles of comedy.
He had amassed over 400,000 followers on Facebook and his popularity was growing. However, this week,he complained of cold and chest pains and was rushed to hospital where he died.
KK Mwenyewe’s real name is Zakaria Kariuki and his tribe is Kikuyu. He was talented and also devoted to his work. May his soul rest in peace.
