But there are a number of cheap estates which are safe, where you can walk even at midnight without any security issue. Affordable estates in Nairobi are those that charge rent of not more than Ksh 20,000 per month. The average rent for affordable estates should be:

2 bedrooms Ksh 12,000 to Ksh 25,000

- Utawala
