Ossen Girls is a National School in Baringo County. Itβs one of the few C1 National Schools in Kenya.
Ossen Girls was elevated to the National School in 2022 when the Headteacher was Edith Koech. Later,Edith Koech was promoted and transferred to Kenya High. Currently, Dr. Jenipher Apondi Otolo is the Principal of the National School.
Ossen Girls was founded in 1975 as a mixed secondary school. In 2014 it became a girls only secondary school.
The school is in a quiet environment ,condusive for learning.Their high level of discipline and Christian values have contributed immensely to the schoolβs impressive performance. In 2024 ,Ossen recorded a mean score of 8.945 in KCSE. In 2025 their mean score was 8.292
