Kenyan women have come up with new strategies to attract rich men. Here are the strategies they are using:
Going to posh hotels—they visit hotels like Villa Rosa Kempinsky and order drinks. They sit there waiting for rich men to approach them.
Visiting clubs frequented by the rich—there are clubs in estates like Runda, Karen and Muthaiga where the rich go. Women visit those clubs with the intention of meeting rich men.
Opening businesses in rich estates—Some will open small businesses like groceries, Pesa shop and chemist. Their aim is to interact with rich men and eventually get married by them.
Offering cleaning services…they offer to work as house managers or cleaning services.
Jogging in rich estates—they come from as far as Kayole, Githurai,Kitengela and Pipeline to go and jog in Runda ,Karen,Muthaiga, Gigiri and Kileleshwa morning and evening hours. Their hope is to find rich men who are also jogging, get to interact and eventually get their contacts.
They join golf clubs—Majority would join golf clubs where they can get good connections and possibly meet rich men for marriage.
Attending weddings—they target weddings for the rich where they gate crash and meet rich people.
Attending church located in rich estates—Some opt to attend churches which are located in rich estates like Runda and Muthaiga. They believe that they can get rich men there to marry them.
