Is Zuku the worst Internet provider in Kenya?

Many Kenyans are complaining about the services offered by Zuku. One complain was from Amakove Wala who said that Zuku customer Care service is the poorest.In her Facebook account,she wrote:

Zuku Official I have called 8 times since Friday last week. Latest being 5pm today. The only reason I am still with your gadget is that I am vacating this house end of the month. Otherwise, it would have been in the dustbin.

There is no way a client can call 8 times over downtime and it is not being escalated past the customer care line. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and been told that “they will call me”. What does that even mean! I understand the supervisors are a Martin and a Colleta or something like that.

Check account 108728. And compensating for days lost does not work since I am spending much more than the compensation you will issue. Which won’t work since I am moving out anyway. And I do not see myself moving back to Zuku”

*Where do you get the strength to still engage Zuku? I got tired years ago and threw all their gadgets kwa dustbin. Interesting enough, almost 7 years later, an agent still calls to ask when I’ll renew my subscriptions (I had 3- installed at home and in two business locations). Juzi he asked if he can come pick the routers if I’m no longer using them… I just laughed.

*That was my case last week for three days no Internet. They finally fixed it but after me ranting and ranting some more with threats. Its like a toxic relationship, they now know I am filing for a divorce.

*I was so frustrated a while back, I picked all those gadgets and dropped them in the dustbin. God Safaricom and our journey has been amicable

*The last time I dealt with Zuku I asked them to come for their gadgets from my roof.

It’s been almost 7 years. It’s still on top of my roof. I can’t deal

*Docs, I don’t know you to stay in abusive relationships. How are you still with Zuku?

There’s a time I sent Whatsapp messages and every time I’d be asked how I could be helped. This went on for three days. On day three I snapped and requested them to come pick their router.

I switched to Safaricom Home Fibre. I’m never looking back.

I’m impressed you’ve stayed loyal to the brand for that long.

*I really struggled with their gadget until I went to their offices.

They gave me 2mnths CSR and my Internet was fixed to date I don’t experience down time.

I can share with you the number of their boss for quick assistance.

*I abandoned their services long time ago! The disc is still on the roof- other parts disconnected

Maybe I will give out to scrap metal dealers
