List of Accounts for you and their requirements

Personal Current Account

What is required

  • Your original and copy of your ID/passport
  • 1 passport photo (taken at the branch)
  • PIN certificate
  • Proof of address/source of funds

 Rates and fees

  • Opening balance – KSh 1,000
  • Ledger fee – KSh 35 (on minimum of KSh 500 per month)
  • Unauthorized overdraft fee – KSh 500
  • Cheque book per leaf – KSh 12.50
  • Zero interest is payable

Premium Current Account

What is required

  • Your original and copy of your ID/passport
  • 1 passport photo (taken at the branch)
  • PIN certificate
  • Proof of address/source of funds

Rates and fees

  • A current account in any currency.
  • Opening balance KES 5,000
  • Ledger fee is KES 1,200 per month.
  • Monthly fee is waived if account balance of above Kshs.200,000 is maintained.
  • A dedicated Relationship Manager
  • Free Cheque book, ATM card, Swift and banker’s cheques
  • ATM withdrawals in NBK machines is free

Foreign Currency Current Account

What is required

  • Your original and copy of your ID/passport
  • 1 passport photo (taken at the branch)
  • PIN certificate
  • Proof of address/source of funds

Rates and fees

  • Opening balance – USD 100; EUR 100; GBP 100
  • Ledger fee of USD10 for balances below USD 100
  • Ledger fee of Euros 6 for balances below Euro 100
  • Ledger fee of GBP 3.50 for balances below GBP 100

Ahadi Savings

What is required

  • Your original and copy of your ID/passport
  • 1 passport photo (taken at the branch)
  • PIN certificate
  • Proof of address/source of funds

Rates and fees

  • Opening & minimum balance of KES.1,000/=
  • Interest applied every quarter at a tiered rate of up to 5% per annum
  • Zero ledger fees

Vision Savings

What is required

  • Original and copy of guardian’s National ID/Passport
  • Birth certificate/notification of birth of child
  • 1 Passport photo of the guardian/parent (to be taken at branch)
  • PIN Certificate of guardian/parent
  • Proof of address/ source of funds (refer to AML document)

Rates and fees

  • Minimum opening balance KES 500
  • Minimum operating balance KES 500

  • Interest rate is tiered up to 5% per annum

Ahadi Premium Account

What is required

What is required

  • You need to be 18 years and above
  • You need to have a functioning smart mobile phone

  • Maximum value per transaction – KSh 70,000
  • Maximum account balance – KSh 150,000

What is required
