Capital Sacco Membership requirements

 HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

  1. Fill membership application form
  2. Pay a registration fee of ksh200
  3. Purchase a minimum of 30 shares at ksh100 each
  4. Continuous accumulation of shares

 MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

  1. A person 0f 18 years and above of good character and of sound mind
  2. Must have a minimum share contribution
  3. Individual or organizations

HOW TO WITHDRAW

  1. Dial *346#
  2. You will get a Menu
  3. Press Answer and reply with 1
  4. Select Account then press okay
  5. Enter Amount
  6. Then enter PIN
  7. Wait for reply

The money will be topped up into your M-Pesa Account

HOW TO DEPOSIT

  1. Go to M-Pesa menu
  2. Select Paybill
  3. Enter 520 100 (Capital Sacco Account)
  4. Enter Amount
  5. Send

You will get a message with deposit confirmation

  • ​For companies, Memorandum and Articles of Association, Registration Certificate and Directors’ Resolutions are required.

  • Photocopy of child’s birth certificate

Group Account

DESCRIPTION.

  • National Identity Card or passport
  • One colored passport size photograph for each signatory. To be provided or taken at the branch
  • Introduction letter from an account holder / utility bills in the names of the directors/ statement for other bank account.
  • Resolution to open the account
  • Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association for Limited Companies
  • Opening balance of Kshs. 1,000

Capital Sacco Loans

Tea Bonus Plus Classic Loan

This loan aims at farmers who are involved in the production of tea leaves. It is available to farmers with active accounts and who receive regular income from their tea earnings. It can be used to purchase Agricultural Inputs, Equipment, Livestock Feed, Labor Finance, and School Fees.

Tea Bonus Plus Loan

This is a product designed for Tea Farmers with reference to the average amount of Tea Bonus Payment for the last two years. The product is meant for short-term development needs.

Tea Welfare Loan

The Tea Welfare Loan is aimed at farmers who deliver their products to KTDA and Private Tea Factories throughout the country. The Loan is offered based on the accumulated kilos that a farmer has produced and delivered to the factory. The amount given depends on your personal needs.

Tea Picking Advance Loan

Tea Picking Advance is designed to cater for farmer’s short term demands such as Tea Picking, Emergencies, Purchase of Farm Inputs, Tuition Fees, and Even Labor.

Coffee Development Loan

This product is designed for coffee farmers with reference to the amount of Non-Withdraw-able Deposits that the member holds. The product is meant for development. Loan eligibility calculation will be based on 50% of a total of Three Previous Year’s Production.

Coffee Advance Loan

The product is designed to cater for Farmer’s Short Term Demands such as Coffee Picking, Emergencies, School Fees, Purchase of Farm Inputs, and even Labor.

Dairy Welfare Loan

The applicant must have been a member for the Last Six Months and a member of a Cooperative Dairy Society. All requests must be supported by a Proposal on how the funds will be used. The payment of milk during the entire loan repayment period should not be modified or changed. The Purchased Cows will have to be insured and will be part of the Loan Collatera

Maziwa Pesa Loan Daily Advances

This loan is intended to meet short-term personal needs or act as a short-term working capital for Individual Farmers, Cooperatives, Refrigeration Plants, and Milk Loading Agents. This loan advance can also help in boosting your finances within the month.

Kilimo Tosha Loan

This horticulture loan targets Small Scale Horticultural Famers for purposes of production. It is based on group lending methodology.

Salary Loan

The loan is suitable for all account holders who get a regular income from their employment. It is Ideal for those who earn a monthly salary income. The loan can be used for medical bills, school fees, purchase of spare parts, and household items. In short, this is for All Employees in Both Public and Private Sectors.

Development Loan

It is loan products that aims at making you grow. Non-account holders can apply for this loan. Loan amounts are personalized for long term development and operational requirements. With this loan you can buy property start a business, motor vehicle purchase, and even undertake large scale farming. The multiplying factor is 3 and 5 at a period up to 5 years.

Micro-Credit Loan

The loan is designed to give money to people operating a micro business and require working capital to run or boost their businesses. It has competitive interest rates combined with quick processing. It can be given to non-account holders. Multiplying factor is 4 at a period of up to 2 years.

Business Advance Loan

This is a loan product that targets Entrepreneurs who are Members of the Sacco and whose accounts have Charged Collateral for the Sacco. It facilitates members to get Business Finance.

Bodaboda Loan

This product is meant for people in Boda Boda Business to boost their business through either Acquisition of a Boda Boda or Maintenance of the already existing.

Institutional Loans

This product targets development programs and other short term needs of member institutions. It takes care of Schools, Churches and Colleges. With this loan, you can take your loved ones to school without straining too much.
