Yes,if you have Ksh 700,000 you can build a 3-bedroom house in the village in Kenya,but on condition that you have your own sand,bricks and timber. If you have the three items,you will save yourself Ksh 500,000 to Ksh700,000. Building 3 bedroom house will cost Ksh 1.5 million to Ksh3 million. In the village,labour is cheap,which reduces the cost significantly. Also,you may not incur the costs of buying water.
