Charges of sending a parcel through DHL
If you are sending a parcel through DHL, they will charge you based on weight and distance. If it’s within Kenya,1 KG will cost Ksh 200 to Ksh 1,500. If you are sending from Kenya to USA,they will charge you Ksh 3,000 to Ksh7,000 for 1kg.If it’s 30kg,you will pay Ksh 10,000 to Ksh 25,000.The cost of sending a parcel to UK from Kenya is from Ksh 2,000.
How to calculate the price
The volumetric weight of your shipment can be calculated by simply multiplying the length (cm) x height (cm) x width (cm) and dividing the result by 5,000. For example: You are sending a package that weighs 8kg, but the dimensions are 40cm x 30cm x 50cm. The package would be charged at the volumetric weight
