The University Hostel charges have been increased from the current Ksh 6,000 per year to Ksh 51,660. The proposals are made by the government and if implemented, they will see comrades struggle to pay for accommodation.
The hostel fee is separate from the main fee paid to the university.The accommodation rates are as follows:
