Richard came to us asking whether he can take a loan of Ksh 100,000 from Tala. We went ahead and asked Tala about the issue. Tala confirmed that their maximum loan amount is Ksh 50,000 but they are open to increase the limit to Ksh 100,000 as long as a customer meets specific conditions.
The first condition is that the customer must be loyal one to the company for more than 3 years. If you take a loan regularly for more than 3 years and repay in time, contact Tala and request for Ksh 100,000 loan.
The second condition is that you should not default or pay late. Always pay in time and ensure that you take another loan immediately.
Your loan limit should be Ksh 50,000. If you maintain the Ksh 50,000 loan limit for long, they will increase it to Ksh 100,000.
Your Mpesa statement should be healthy. Tala will check to see whether you are able to repay Ksh100,000 in time.
You should not be listed in CRB by any loan App.
