Middle class salary in Kenya range between Ksh 100,000 and Ksh 300,000 per month. With a salary of Ksh 100, 000, you will own a personal car, take your children to school and live in a good apartment in Nairobi paying monthly rent of Ksh 15,000.

The middle class of today is not the middle class of the year 2010.Cost of living has gone high. In 2010 middle class could earn Ksh 50,000 and live comfortably, but today Ksh50k is not enough to survive with in Nairobi.
