At the Airport if you don’t have your own car and you wish to book a taxi to town,the price ranges between Ksh 600 and Ksh 2,000 depending on traffic, time of the day and the type of cab to use. The cheapest one is Bolt or Uber.If you use Bolt to Nairobi CBD,you will spend Ksh 500 to Ksh 800 to Nairobi CBD.
There are also public transport called matatu which are cheaper. From JKIA to Nairobi CBD,they will charge you Ksh 70 to Ksh 100.
If you prefer taxi to CBD or Westlands,use Expressway to avoid traffic jam.If you use the old Mombasa road,you will take more than 30 minutes from JKIA to CBD.If you use Expressway, you will take 15 to 20 minutes to CBD.
