I work for an NGO in Nairobi and my contract is ending in December 2024.I have savings in a Sacco worth Ksh 3.5 million. Since I understand that getting another job is difficult, I first want to start a business in Kisumu and look for a job as I run the business. I don’t want to spend all my savings, I want to have a capital of Ksh 500,000 to Ksh 1.5 million.
My home is in Kisumu, that’s where I want to relocate to in order to avoid paying rent.
If you have lived in Kisumu or you own a business, please advise me on the right one”
